Our agriculture development initiatives in Bankura District are designed to empower marginalized communities, enhance sustainable farming practices, promote nutrition security, and ensure better livelihood opportunities. These programs are being implemented with technical and financial support from NABARD and aim to create long-term socio-economic transformation.

- Sustainable moringa (drumstick) cultivation practices
- Intensive training for women farmers on advanced farming techniques
- Proper marketing of moringa flowers and fruits to increase farmer income
- Preparation of nutritious foods using moringa leaves and fruits to improve family nutrition
- This program strengthens women's economic empowerment while contributing to community health and sustainable agriculture.
Moringa Cultivation Program — Chatna Block

With the support of NABARD, we have launched the Moringa Cultivation Program in Ghoshergram and Chhatna-2 villages under Chatna Block.
Beneficiaries: 150 women farmers from SC and ST families
Nutrition Gardening Program — Raipur Block

The Nutrition Gardening Program is being implemented at Sabar Basti in Sagarbhanga Village, under Sonagara Gram Panchayat of Raipur Block.
Objective: To ensure food and nutrition security for vulnerable tribal families.
Livestock Initiative — Goat Rearing Program

Goat Rearing for SHG Members — Chhatna Block
With the support of SPADE Kolkata, GAWS has initiated a Goat Rearing Program for Self-Help Group (SHG) members in Chhatna Block, Bankura District.
Objective:To create sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural women and strengthen their financial independence.
